As the tramp is looking for a warm place to stay at in Alaska during the Alaskan Gold Rush, tramp gets stuck between harsh weather conditions and an escaped fugitive. Once he takes a job for looking after a prospector's cabin, he falls in love with a lonesome saloon girl, thinking that she has fallen in love for him.

In this fun tale, full of laughter, the tramp is being chased by a police man is a crowded city which leads tramp staight onto the circus grounds. After a successful audition, tramp without knowlegde becomes the greatest act in the circus.

Winner: Special Award "for versitile in acting, directing, producing, and writing in THE CIRCUS"
